Tiny Lab Documentation

The tiny bubbles of air trapped inside an ice cube first inspired Adam Saynuk to explore the smallest observable details of ordinary objects in 2004. Since then, he has shot thousands of photos of ice alone, and upon launching his Morning Macro photoblog in 2008, Adam has captured thousands more fascinating photos of the tiny features of everyday things.

Adam's microphotography highlights the many details of common objects which are easily overlooked. His large prints of tiny things inspire viewers to a sense of wonder and discovery out of the mundane. Adam has recently shown his macro/microphotos in an interactive exhibit called Tiny Lab, and another interactive exhibit of a larger than life book of microphotos called Mood Book. Installations of Adam's work include large pieces in the offices of New York design boutique, String Theory and a series called microtaco which Adam shot exclusively for the Taco Truck restaurant in Hoboken.
